Social networking site MySpace names Rosabel Tao global comms chief

Rosabel Tao has been named senior vice president of corporate comms for social networking site MySpace.

Tao will oversee all global external and internal comms for the brand and lead on strategy and messaging across all international territories.

She previously held senior positions with comms agencies GolinHarris and Weber Shandwick.

'With her deep knowledge of the technology, media and advertising spaces and her diverse background in communications, I know that her vision and counsel will prove invaluable. I’m thrilled to welcome her to our executive team,' said MySpace president Mike Jones.

Tao will be based out of the MySpace Beverly Hills offices.
