Sony Ericsson introduces Android X8 for Indian Market

After the launch of Xperia series, that is Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Xperia X10 mini, Sony Ericsson is now planning to come up with Sony Android X8. This handset is supposed to lie somewhere between the previous two releases. Perhaps, Sony is setting up to target the mid-range users through its latest launch.

The upcoming Android X8 will have 3.0- inch 320 x 480 resolution capacitive touchscreen display and a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus.

As per the multimedia part, it comes with HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS and runs on Android 1.6 Donut. Indeed, Sony is looking for some big break through this Android X8, and has tried to resemble it with X10 mini.

However, there is no news about its price and availability, but can be expected to cost much lesser than Xperia X10. It will be interesting to watch whether its price matches with cheap Android handsets like Samsung Galaxy 5 and Galaxy 3.
