Sturgeon unveils alcohol price plan

Scottish Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon is due to announce what she wants the minimum price for alcohol to be.

After the Scottish Government announced the controversial policy, ministers have faced repeated calls to set out what the proposed minimum price per unit for drink would be.

Ministers have used an illustrative price of 40 pence a unit to demonstrate what impact the policy could have. But they have so far refused to say exactly what their proposed price is.
