Google launches search page for real-time online posts

BEIJING, Aug. 27 (Xinhuanet) -- Google launched a new webpage for real-time content, according to an AFP report on Friday.

The search giant opened a new webpage in 40 countries to search for real-time online posts at Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace.

Dylan Casey, the company's product manager, said by introducing the new webpage that real-time content is one of the best sources of information about what is happening right now in the world.

"Whether it is a movie that just opened or you see helicopters flying over, this shows what people are saying about that right now, " said Casey.

The new search webpage is directly linked to comments, images or other public content posted instantly at popular online social networks.

Google started to include the real-time content in its search results from last December and has begun to work with Twitter to make its archive accessible from the search engine.
